Fees & Charges

Tewkesbury and Toddington Tae Kwon Do runs primarily as a not for profit club and fees charged are set at a level to only cover the costs of the training premises and the purchase of training equipment.

For clarity, the fees are set out below so you know exactly what you will be expected to pay and when.

All new joiners will initially be able to train for 1 Month absolutely free. All we ask is that you fill in a simple form for insurance purposes and turn up for training in appropriate clothing (track suit or similar).

If you wish to continue training at the end of the month you may be invited to join the club. Annual membership (including insurance) is £30.
All of our licences renew in May so if you join mid year, you would pay the pro-rata charge to the following May.

At the point of joining you will be issued with a suitably sized training uniform (Dobok) free of charge.

Training costs £5 per week - this means you can attend as many available sessions as you like.
If you don't train you don't pay - we do not ask you to pay monthly, we do not ask for direct debits or standing orders and we do not expect you to pay anything in advance.

For families we offer significant discounts if more than one member is training with us.

We charge £25 for a grading exam (again there are discounts for family groups), which includes your certification and your new belt if you are successful.

It will take approximately 4 years to reach black belt standard and whilst there is no guarantee that you ever will, we do like to believe that a black belt is nothing more than a beginner that didn't give up.
